First time I heard, "Chuck E.'s in Love"

The first time I heard "Chuck E.'s in Love," I was about 8 or 9 years old. I loved that song, and I bought the "45" record single. I had never seen Rickie Lee Jones in my life, until YouTube, and I was able to see the original video to this song. (Red Beret). Every time I watch this video, I feel some kind of joy inside me, and it tickles me how absolutely cute and angelic Ms. Jones appears in this video. This single song is truly a masterpiece, and every vocal nuance and facial expression that her soul brings forth is so pure and wonderful that I felt compelled to try to convey this to her... hopefully one day she will read this and know how truly she is appreciated, and what kind of impact her talent has made on people. I love you, Rickie! Keep on keepin' on, baby.

uhcougarjoel, Yeah, if you're still out there I'm looking for a DVD of the "red beret" version. One of the most offbeat, funky songs around anywhere, anytime. Her timing and like you said, nuances, and that of the band is amazing.
